Her military career has taken her from Naval Hospital Rota, Spain, where she headed Behavioral Health Services, to Camp Lejeune, NC, where she served as Medical Director and Program Manager for the Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Program, to Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, VA, where she completed her psychiatry residency.

She has also served as an invited instructor for the U.S. Army Clinical Consultant and Medical Review Officer course, sharing her addiction medicine expertise across military branches.

As a Federal Expert Witness (2014, 2017), Dr. Hauck has applied her clinical expertise in legal proceedings requiring the highest standard of medical opinion.
